Breakaway Roping is the fastest growing sport on dirt, and there is a new all girl breakaway roping event that is trailblazing in Stephenville, Texas! Something Special Breakaway Roping is an all girl breakaway roping event designed for the younger girls of breakaway roping! The events range from 12 & Under, 10 & Under, and 8 & Under, young ladies that love to breakaway rope!
This event is truly something special, and the heart of the production comes from Jill and Travis Edwards. In 2022 the Edwards grew their breakaway roping event by 125%! There were over 100+ little girls that competed in the Something Special Breakaway Roping this year! There are so many people who have jumped on board and that have been involved as sponsors and supporters of growing this event! Paden Bray said, “This is like the NFR of little girls breakaway roping.”

The drive in these younger girls that are breakaway roping is a fire that burns deep with passion! Something Special All Girl Breakaway Roping is truly special and iconic for the sport of breakaway roping! The goal of something special is to grow the confidence of all of the little girls growing up in the sport of breakaway roping, to give them their time to shine and rope exclusive at an All Girls Jr. Roping Event!
